We’ll combine a coach ride and walking to explore all main Zagreb sights. We’ll visit Kaptol (the medieval part of Zagreb), the Franciscan Monastery and the adjacent Church of St. Francis, which according to legend dates back to the 13th century, the times of St. Francis of Assisi. We’ll walk around the Dolac farmers’ market and the 18th-century Baroque Church of St. Mary. The tour will end in the heart of Zagreb, at Ban Josip Jelačić’s monument on the square bearing his name. A full-day excursion to Slavonia and a visit to a small quiet Posavina village and a family farm. We’ll look around the farm accompanied by friendly hosts and see the Lipizzaner horses’ ranch, freshwater fish pond, horse back-riding trails, old barn, bread oven and spits used for fish and suckling preparation. After the farm tour we’ll relax over lunch including Slavonian delicacies from own production accompanied by Slavonian wine. Since the village lies on the Sava River, the host will take us for a ride on the boat accompanied by live music which will last till late afternoon. Visit Slavonia once and you’ll always want to come back to it.
